New Remind Me Button
We all know that old familiar story of Event Forgetfulness. Although there is no cure, we've added a "preventative measure" to help combat this socially debilitating disease.
Conveniently located with the RSVP button is a new Remind Me button. This allows your recipients to set up a Reminder email that we'll send to them on the date they've requested for free.
Of course you, as the host, can still send your Reminders just like you've always done. For each invitation, the first round of Reminders is still free, and you continue to have the three options as to whom to send to.
-
Remind anyone who hasn't responded
-
Remind anyone who HAS responded
-
Remind everyone on your guest list
After your first free round of Reminders, any subsequent Reminder mailings will play off of your email credits, just the same as sending the invitation.
Using Your Site's RSVP/Registration Page
If your company or business has an event registration or RSVP page on it's website that you'd like to use instead of the SendAnInvite RSVP page, now you can!
To set this up, click on the name of the invitation to highlight it, then click on Settings located under the RSVP's heading on the right menu bar. At the bottom of this page, you'll see the section entitled Alternate Landing Page.
The first drop-down list is to direct an invitation to use another invitation's RSVP forms and reports. This comes in handy when you have one event, but you want to send out a separate, slightly different invitation to a specific group of recipients. For example, you could have a generic invitation for most of your recipients, but then a more informative invitation for members or specific clients. All responses to both invitations will be in one location making it much more convenient than having to check two (or more) RSVP lists.
The lower section is to add in the URL to your site's RSVP/Registration page. This method is ideal when your event requires a registration form or more detailed, pre-existing RSVP-type of page you already have on your web site.
Please remember that if you use this option, SendAnInvite is unable to list responses on the RSVP reports as recipients are taken away from the SendAnInvite service and directed to your site to respond. This will also affect Reminders as the system will not be able to recognize who has or has not responded to your invitation.
You do have the option to manually enter RSVP's in your SendAnInvite account so you can still take advantage of all the tools we have to offer, such as the Reminders.
