More Cool Tools!
Another week has gone by and we have some more new updates to tell you about! A couple of these updates are the result of customer requests, so remember, if you think of something that will aid in your SendAnInvite experience, don't be shy! Send us a note and let us know!
Importing/Exporting Directly To or From A Group Now, you can easily import or export your email addresses directly to or from a Group in your SendAnInvite address book.
If you're importing, make sure you have your new addresses ready to go in a CSV file. Click on the IMPORT button from within your SendAnInvite Address Book, and follow the instructions. When you get to the Select Fields part of the import, you'll notice a new drop-down box that has the name of any Groups you have created in your SendAnInvite address book. Simply choose the Group you want to import to, and click the CONTINUE button. Voila!
To export from a particular Group, just open that Group in your address book and click the EXPORT button at the top. This will export only that group instead of everyone in the entire address book group.
As a side note, if you need help with importing or exporting, we can help! We also have some simple instructions on how to export addresses from Outlook, Outlook Express, Hotmail, and others. Just drop us a note and we'll send it off to you.
Accepting Duplicate RSVP's Currently, whenever someone tries to RSVP to an invitation that they've already RSVP'd to, they are instructed to use their confirmation email to update their RSVP. However, there are times when you may want to accept duplicate RSVP's.
There is now a new option in the Invitation Settings that will allow a particular invitation to accept duplicate email addresses on the RSVP action. Just click on the invitation to highlight it and click on the SETTINGS button. From there, go to your RSVP Settings. Make sure to SAVE your changes and you're done!
Resizing Your Logo Sometimes a logo can appear too big on an invitation or RSVP form. You can resize it easily from your Account Settings area.
Once you've entered the Account Settings, click on the Settings link. From here you can add a logo, change your current logo to a different one, or resize the logo associated with your account. Don't forget to click on the UPDATE button when you're done!
Ok... What is ?
You've seen it... but what is it? This little circle of dots is a type of reload button. There are a few residing in different areas of SendAnInvite, but you'll see one right there on your Account Page. If you click on it, it will reload the section it pertains to. On your Account Page, it will reload your list of invitations, as well as your "Sent To", RSVP's, and Attending numbers. This is a bit faster than reloading the entire web page.
You'll also see this circle of dots doing their little dance whenever a page is in process of loading...such as on your RSVP page or RECIPIENTS page. If you see it doing it's thing, it means that SendAnInvite is processing your request. Please be patient... sometimes there's lots of traffic on the site and things seem to take a bit longer than during the low-traffic times!
