A Brand New Look!
As another week goes churning by, we've buried ourselves in the sand busily working on a brand new look for the site. With this new look comes the task of transferring the site and all of our users' accounts and invitations to a new server that will allow us to grow and handle even more of your invitations, announcements and RSVP's!
In the next few days, you'll be greeted by a more professional look when you visit SendAnInvite.com. We've added more functionality for businesses with the biggest update being payment acceptance, and a better invitation creation wizard with more template choices!
Although we'll do everything we can from our end to prevent long periods of downtime, there may be a few hours where SendAnInvite.com will not be available as the entire internet catches up with the site's new location. Please keep in mind that this will be a temporary outage and we appreciate everyone's patience as we make these changes to provide you with better service overall.
We're really excited about the new changes and welcome any feedback from all of you! Keep an eye open... the new look will be debuting soon!
Accepting Payments
Your company is holding a seminar or workshop to which there is an admission fee. Now you can advertise that fee and, with a valid PayPal account, collect the payments from your recipients right from your invitation!
You can now set up your invitation to send any payments directly to your PayPal account, and in lieu of purchasing email credits, we'll bill you at the end of the month for the SendAnInvite Service Fees.
The fee structure is 2% of the price for each ticket/admission fee sold, or a minimum of $.80. In other words, if your price is under $40.00 per ticket/admission, the fee would be $.80. If your price is $40.00 or more, the fee would be 2% of the price. If you add the fee into your ticket/admission price, the SendAnInvite service ultimately ends up FREE for you! We'll bill you at the end of the month and you can pay directly through PayPal, making the transaction smooth, reliable, quick and easy!
When your guests click through to the RSVP page they'll be directed to the payment page where they can pay through their existing PayPal account or with a credit card. We also offer a "Pay Later" option in case you allow guests to "Pay At The Door" of your event. "Pay Later" is optional and is either enabled or disabled in your individual invitation settings.
Our team will work closely with you to ensure everything goes smoothly with your payment acceptance. There are some settings in PayPal itself that may need to be edited before payment would be allowed through to your account by PayPal, so it's highly recommended that you confirm proper performance with us before mailing out your invitations/announcements. After-all, we are talking about your money, here!
If you would like to use this feature and accept payments directly from your invitations, or if you have any questions about this feature, just drop us an email and we'll be happy to assist you!
Do you have a question or want to know how to do something? Drop us a line and it could be the subject of the next edition!
