What do they want?

"Guest Preferences" is a simple tool that really comes in handy! You have the option to set up Guest Preferences when you create a new invitation, or you can add them to an existing invitation.

If you have options for an event, you can ask your recipients what option they prefer. For example, you're having a "Movie Night" at your home and are inviting some friends, but you aren't sure what movies your friends want to see. You can add some choices in the Guest Preferences and when your friends RSVP, they choose their preferences. This way you'll know exactly what movies to rent for the evening!

Another example: Your company is having it's annual employee dinner. It's being catered, but you need some kind of count as to who wants chicken and who wants beef. Not only that, but how many of your guests would like coffee versus those who want tea? Set up those Guest Preferences and find out! In a situation like this, make sure to check the box that will allow guests to choose more than one item.

You can even use the Guest Preferences as an incentive for people to attend your event! For instance, ask a difficult trivia question and offer multiple choice answers. Those guests that have chosen the correct answer are entered to win a drawing or a prize at the event. The recipients that are convinced they've chosen the correct answer are sure to attend to collect their prize!

Using the Guest Preferences is easy. They can be used for just about anything you would like to ask your guests! What a handy feature!

Those wacky header links and RSVP form text color!

You've just created the PERFECT invitation or announcement and emailed it to yourself for that final check. But wait! Those header links and the RSVP text colors don't exactly match the text colors on your invitation.

First off, the header links are those links above your invitation.

Sometimes, you may need to change the text colors to make the text in the header and on the RSVP form match the invitation.

To do this, highlight the particular invitation on your Account page and click on the SETTINGS button. Click the GENERAL link when the window opens, and at the bottom of this page you'll see the spot where you can change the text color to use for your header links and the RSVP form.

This will give your RSVP form some consistency with the invitation you've created, making everything look like it all belongs together.
