 Remind Me Again...

You've mailed out your invitations and are a week or two away from your event.  However you notice that some people have viewed your invitation, but have yet to respond.   What do you do?

Send Reminders!   We've seen it time and time again... people have every intention of responding but then get busy with daily life and tasks at work and just forget.  With SendAnInvite you can send Reminders to help jog their memory and prompt them to action.

What if you want to remind the people that did respond... just to ensure they don't forget the upcoming event?

Send Reminders!  SendAnInvite gives you the option to send Reminders to:  1.)  All emailed recipients,
2.) All recipients who RSVP'd with Yes or Maybe,  or  3.) All recipients who did not RSVP.

With each event invitation you get to send one Reminder mailing for FREE.  So you can email all your recipients at no cost or deduction from your email credits.  Each additional Reminder mailing will be deducted from your email credits.  If you have no credits remaining, you can purchase more.  So if you have 50 people to send Reminders to, that first mailing is free, and the second Reminder to those 50 people would cost either 50 email credits or $8.00 if you need to purchase more credits.

You can either send your Reminders immediately, or schedule them for mailing at a later date.  This allows you to create and set up the Reminders the same time you've created your invitation, taking the worry out of remembering to perform the task a week or two before the event date.

So when should you send a Reminder?  It mainly depends on the size of your event.  For larger events, the latest you want to remind people is two weeks prior.  For smaller more intimate events, you can get away with sending Reminders a week to a few days prior.

Reminders are a great tool to use to help get the guest count for your event that you're looking for.

Space Availability & RSVP Limits

Some events have space availability limits, or you may want to limit the number of people your recipients can bring to the event.  You can easily deal with this through your Invitation Settings.

Highlight the invitation to the event that has the space limits and click the SETTINGS button.  Then on the new window that opens, click on the RSVP's link.  In the middle of the page is a section called RSVP Limits.

Limit number of guests per RSVP:  This setting will allow each recipient to bring only a designated number of guests with them to your event.  Let's say you're sending invitations out for a conference and each person can only bring one other guest with them.  By setting this limit to 2, the recipient can only RSVP for 1 or 2 people.

Limit total guests for this event:  If your event has space for 40 attendees, just click the checkbox and put the number 40 in the text area.  Once this is set, the first 40 RSVP's are accepted.   The 41st person that tried to RSVP will be given a message stating that no more RSVP's are being accepted for this event.
