Small Business Assistance
If you own or help to run a small business, SendAnInvite can help! How? Let's explore some possibilities!
Whether your business is a small retail shop or a real estate company, you can use SendAnInvite to send announcements to your customers and clients regarding upcoming sales or special listings.
Own a wine or specialty food store? Invite people to a Tasting event! Whether it's wine or gourmet cheese, make it an event!
Is your business a fairly new kid on the block? Hold an Open House event to introduce yourself to other businesses in the area! If your business recently relocated, let your past customers know where you've gone and invite them to check out the new facilities!
We're currently working on a payment acceptance feature which would allow you to sell tickets or admission to just about anything! Whether your event is a seminar with featured speakers, or you want to invite people to see a band that's playing at your club, soon you'll be able to not only advertise these events, but also SELL the events! There will be more information on this upcoming feature as we get closer to release.
As with any business, the customers won't come if they don't know where you are and what you do! SendAnInvite can help you cross that bridge!
RSVP Alternate Landing Pages
One "little-known" feature of SendAnInvite is the ability to assign alternate landing pages for your RSVP buttons/links. Let me explain...
You're holding an event for a business and send your invitations out. The next week, you create another invitation for the same event, this time announcing what the door prizes will be. The next week, you create another invitation highlighting the grand prizes the attendees may win by attending. How do you get all the RSVP's from these three invitations in one place?
Using the alternate landing page setting is very easy and can save you a huge headache!
To have RSVP's from Invite B and Invite C go into the RSVP list for Invite A, simply highlight Invite B in your list of invitations on your Account Page, then click on the Settings button. When the window loads, click on the RSVP's link, and from there, click on the Cutoff tab. You'll see the Alternate RSVP Landing Page settings at the bottom of this page. Use the drop-down list to choose which invitation you want to point to... in this case, Invite A. After clicking on the Update button, anyone who clicks on the RSVP button/link from Invite B will be taken to the RSVP form for Invite A. You can repeat this process as many times as you need.
The result is all your RSVP's will be listed in one place and maintaining your list will be a lot easier!
This option can also be used for personal events. If you've sent out an invitation and have already had a few RSVP's before you find out you need to reschedule the event, just create a new invitation letting your recipients know the new date/time. Then use the Alternate RSVP Landing Page settings to have the RSVP's from the new invitation go to the original invitation's listings of RSVP's.
